Blooming Freezing!

Could not get to sleep last night, still awake at 3.30 :-/ Still, got up and felt ok..ish!

After a light breakfast, we took ourselves off out for a walk, up onto our top road, then down towards town, where they are resurfacing the main road, so we diverted away from all the noise and walked a different route, which made a nice change. Todays blip is the view facing us as we walk onto the top road. Not the nicest of days, but good to get some fresh air, despite the chill!

As we walked the wind was in our faces and boy was it cold! I had put on one of my winter coats thankfully, and a scarf! Once we had collected the papers, posted a couple of cards, we called into Costa for a much needed coffee and a warm! We read, chatted and I think we have finally agreed where we are going to go for a couple of nights to mark our 25th wedding anniversary at the end of this month. Just a little treat as our cruise in June is our big treat ;-)

Once back at the ranch, we quickly put the garden furniture and planters back onto the deck off the lawn, as the lawn man is due on Tuesday to treat it. It does look nice now it is all clean and freshly treated.

Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and chives, with toasted wholemeal pittas for brunch. Not a conventional Sunday dinner this evening, and not everyones cup of tea either, liver & sausage with onion gravy, mashed potatoes, carrots, peas and cabbage :-)

I am trying to be mega good this week, so far so good :-)

I do hope the forecasters have it right and that by Thursday the temperatures will be up to 18/19 degrees!!
