Raumati Beach

Another phone blip as I hadn't recharged the new camera and I dont have a spare battery yet.

We stopped off here to spend some time on a North Isand beach - because they might be different from north island ones (ha!).

We headed up to Napier today. With yet another diversion. The Manawatu Gorge was closed so we had to come over the Saddle instead. Definitely entertaining in the van. Quite a struggle up the hill.

Sebastian has had this NEED to see Dannevirke - he fell in love with the name when he saw it on the weather on tv!?
So that was exciting! For him.
