Neuvo Beth Chaim cemetary

Set amongst all the modern, highrise buildings of London university's Queen Mary College is the remainder of this old Sephardic Jewish cemetery. Along side the hurley burley of the university and the busy Mile End road it is an unostentatious, peaceful place at the moment covered in blue bells. Unlike most headstones in other grave yards these are all flat representing the fact that all people are equal in death.
