Robins

My really good friend Pat has made these robins for me to decorate my fireplace. She is a very clever and creative person, and has made several other strings along these lines, such as snowmen wearing hoodies and reindeer. Everything that she makes is individual and made with love.

It was last day of term for me at school today and the children all wished me a happy Christmas, even if I was just passing them in the corridor. I go to school on wednesday mornings to help the slow readers. It is just the best way to spend a morning. I just love it when they click with reading and start to understand how language is made.
