First visit in 2019

I went to the kitchen to make the second pot of coffee for the morning, and my attention was caught by a soft bang on one of the glass doors. A half dozen Tauhou (silvereyes) were on the deck, feeding from the crucifix orchid flowers. The bang was caused by one of them flying towards the glass and turning at the last minute so that it was a relatively gentle touch rather than a full flight crash.

The Pentax was quickly into action shooting through the windows, despite which this photo is quite sharp, even after some enlargement. As it is not very often that Tauhou remain in one place for more than a second or less, having the luxury of up to five seconds was pleasing.
