A glimpse of my day

Father Christmas's on the Droitwich Canal

I recently joined the Canal and River Trust (formerly known as British Waterways) Volunteer Group on the Droitwich Canal. We undertake practical tasks such as vegetation control and carrying out minor repairs. We are all very interested in canals and although the work can be physical it is very satisfying. The group meets every Wednesday and Thursday but unfortunately I can only join them on Wednesdays. Today we went litter picking in Droitwich on canoes! We can only be described as bonkers mad because it was very wet and cold.
Today's blip was taken on our return. The father Christmas hats are part of our uniform! It was good fun despite taking an hour to thaw out when I got home.
