The Stabbs

An early (for me) start in Stirling on Friday, with the added bonus that my day was free from about 10am onwards. First up was a late breakfast and then a walk along part of the River Forth from the city centre out to Craigforth.

It may have been bright and sunny but, by gosh, it was cold!

The Stabbs (pictured) at Kildean Loop are at the tidal limit of the river, and there is an ancient law prohibiting fishing upstream from this point.
