Caerlaverock Castle

We had a day out today to this, Scottish castle just south of Dumfries. It was really quite cold but we had a good explore round the old ruin. The moat was in good condition and the historian told us that there had been a smaller castle built 100 metres away, and it had been a port with a sea dock. The sea is now 800m away! Global warming?
