HISTORY WAS MADE...

.... in the equine industry today at Royal Randwick Race course in front of over 42,000 patrons.

Local mare WINX made history and retired today on a winning streak of 33 races. From the collage you will notice the three owners have won a mere A$26 million plus, and the fun is about to start as she is set to breed, so who knows.

One thing which stood her apart from many other "champions" has been her "electric" pace in the last couple of hundred metres of her races. Check out this link of todays final race to see what I mean.

Like a top athlete whether you like/follow the sport you always admire a 'true champion" and here she is.
