Crown Imperial
Today I headed off to Salisbury for the day. I had been reminded via Facebook about an exhibition of the late SarumStroller's photos (extra), which was to end this week (though has now been extended to 20th April). The prints, which he had selected with the curator prior to his death, look even better in print - he was a talented photographer.
I then took a round the cathedral gounds and took the opportunity to visit the National Trust's Mompesson House. This magnificent example of a Crown Imperial (Fritillaria Imperialis) spring bulb was found in the garden, and provides my entry for BikerBear's Flower Friday challenge
