Having a nibble
Thursday ,
I was out in the garden trying to get a photo of the pheasant flapping when something else caught my eye.It was the hare ,running along side the burn and munching on tasty new green leaves. So pleased to have them here as this is the first year I've spotted them.I have seen them in other places on the Black Isle but not in 'our'field.She\he was only there for a few minutes before lopping off down the field and squeezed under a gate.
We also have lots of colourful redpolls visiting the feeders along with the siskins and goldfinches mainly.
A buzzard took to the skies too rising on the thermals.
Mike got back home at around 10 o clock.
