My Pot of Gold

We got an earlier tee time this morning and thank heaven we did. As it was, the last three holes were played in a light rain. A table in front of the fireplace was welcome for our lunch in the clubhouse. 

Our friends let us know they were safely home without too much problem with the weather.

While we were watching The Masters, the heavens opened up and the rain, hail, thunder and lightening entertained us for quite a while. Some of the hail is still piled up against the dining room door.

This rainbow lasted over 30 minutes. They are so fleeting, I have never seen one last that long. It was pretty amazing to watch.

I am grateful that we got the earlier tee time or we would have been out in the middle of the course when this wild weather hit.
