Blooming

This azalea was barely blooming when we left on our camping trip but it was full of buds. When we got home today it looked like this

We planted this azalea back in 1974 in what was the edge of our yard where we lived in the trailer we had at the time. When we built the house we moved a couple of other azaleas which included the large one that grows under the kitchen window so it is 40 years old too! We never prune, fertilize or touch this azalea bush and it just keeps giving!


Apparently while we were gone the heavy rains came and beat all the other azaleas to the ground. They are looking really bad. But not this one !
