The guys finally came to replace the 'failed unit' on our bedroom window - so they had to extract the old glass (with extreme difficulty, but no breakage) and put in the new unit - all under guarantee, natch. What nice (and efficient) chaps.

Much later, D returned from Blackness with rumours of Orkney and we went to Pizza Express on the Shore to meet up with Cath and Ford. Happily we managed to keep discussion of OU maths courses to a respectable minimum.
