Little bells

It's good to see these little bells appearing ..... not the bluebells as yet .... but the campanula ..... one of the plants we bought the other Sunday.

Bit of a panic last evening ..... Hubby had just come home from work when we had a phone call from Mum .... she was feeling really poorly .... hot & dizzy & everything looked pink with flowers on!

Mad dash round there ....... arranged for a paramedic/ambulance to come & waited with her. She had a paracetamol which seemed to help as she gradually cooled down, stopped shaking & seeing everything in pink. The paramedics gave her a good check over ...... thought it was possibly an infection or the result of a different brand of her medication.

As she refused to go to hospital for a more thorough check .... which is par for the course with Mum ...... they made her promise to see her doctor! That is a feat in itself as Mum hates doctors!

The doctor has been this afternoon & thinks the most likely cause is the change of tablets .... new prescription arranged ..... my sister will collect it. Fingers crossed that does the job!

As a result of our quick dash to Mum's .... we finally got our evening meal at around 10.30pm! Luckily it was jacket potatoes & we left them in the oven on a low heat while we were round there .... thankfully they were still edible!

Every cloud has a silver lining! :-)
