Do you know trees are green.......

.... a phrase we used to think amusing as children but I've never noticed so much green on tree bark before this morning;  maybe it's the way the sun was hitting them but I quite liked the effect.  I took a few shots into the sun across the water but I didn't bracket or use filters and if I haven't learned the lesson today then I never will!  The walk was lovely though and I had the company of a woman with a gorgeous black cocker spaniel -  we'd parked our cars in the same spot and just got talking.
