Blipfoto has made me realise how much I love trees - so many of my blips are about them. I keep forgetting this one's name but its fragrance is even more beautiful than these pretty flowers.

The tree shelters our outside dining area in summer but has been under a death sentence because borers have made some branches unstable. And in winter, everyone forgets how spectacular it is when these blooms finally arrive.

I couldn't blip the whole tree, because flowers or not, it still looks rather hideous from the surgery it underwent a month or two ago. But hopefully, the blooms will remain for another 5 days so its wouldbe executioners can see it does have some merits.
