No prizes for guessing where we went this weekend!

A bit predictable I know... but I like the balance and detail in this picture, and the way the top of the tower disappears into the low, early morning cloud. We got there early to avoid the queues.

324 is the height of the Tour Eiffel in metres. According to the Wikipedia entry, it is estimated that "more than 200,000,000 people have visited the tower since its construction in 1889, including 6,719,200 in 2006, making it the most visited paid monument in the world". Makes you wonder how many other photos just like this one there must be.
