I am pleased that this working week is over. We have worked exceptionally hard in the inpatient ward all week to help patients get well enough to be discharged, and nearly a third of the patients have been discharged, only for as many to be admitted. The superstitions are out in force to explain this pressure; new moon, full moon, change of season and lots more besides.

Got home and did not want to go looking for a photo, and saw the notebook S bought during our trip to England and Wales in June last year.
