Frustrated and tired!!

New technology and me just aren't seeing eye to eye. All the fancy gadgets, in particular the steam oven (at the top) . We've been here nearly three weeks and I haven't cooked in this oven.  First up was the problem with the instruction book, or the lack of it.....every language except English!!! Good grief, so back to the shop who supplied they emailed a PDF file to me, hence the laptop sitting on the bench.  I will have to get the relevant pages printed, but that's anther story - the printer isn't connected. Anyhow with the help and patience of Kaylene (lovely daughter in law) we did manage to steam all the veggies....spuds, broccoli, cauliflower and courgette very successfully. Lamb chops were cooked in the conventional oven below.

I think being so tired hasn't helped.  We never got to bed until 4.30 am this morning. The kids from Ozzie didn't hit the Tarmac until 1.30 am over an hour late.  There was customs etc to clear, we finally hit the road home just after 2 am . Then the blokes doing the curbing in our drive were banging around before 8 am . So yes....tired and slightly grumpy.

Building inspectors here at 10 am for a couple of hours , and a kitchen and a TV bloke here this afternoon ...... Tomorrow I am looking for some relaxing time - champagne breakie with my ex work mates, then to the hairdressers to have a tidy up, some colour,  tootsie nails, lashes and walk away a whole heap poorer.  There will be wine offered there too.

It's almost 10pm and I've got to hit the sack, big sleeps I hope.
