Under Construction

A new 129 acre Geauga County park opened less than 2 miles away. When completed it will connect with the Cleveland Metroparks bridle trail in South Chagrin Reservation. After my hike, I saw a park manager photographing the construction progress for the day. He invited me to see the just finished shelter house. Very nice. He said the land previously held a dude ranch, campsite, and farm.

We are so fortunate to have so many beautiful preserved natural green spaces in this area.

I was also very lucky. I lost my balance going up some wooden steps and teetered up six of them before regaining my balance. That would have been a bad fall on my face.
