Start to finish

My friend was discharged from hospital and today is her birthday - Happy birthday Lorna :)

Busy day on duty today, a steady trickle of emails and faxes as well as telephone calls and colleagues asking for advice. Never a dull day - my day is Thursdays.

This evening was our AGM, and my last year of term as chairman. During the meeting I had a surprise presentation - a thank you card and a bobbin - from the members. How lovely. A good meeting in all apart from a delayed start as a member had to return home to collect some paperwork. Improvised, had tea first with a couple quizzes to keep then entertained.
