Driving Away From Spring

The temperature is getting cooler as we head north.  Today it was a short drive to Virginia (about 4 hours) and it was noticeably cooler at 67F.  But there were still flowering trees, the crab apple, red bud and magnolia.  We walked around the historic downtown and ate dinner.  Texting with Jessica and Jordan tonight - getting used to the separation again.  

Tomorrow we'll have about a 5 hour drive to New Jersey and a quick visit with Jon's brother and then home (7 hours) on Saturday.  We've put about 3200 miles on the car so far and for sure it will be nice to sleep in my own bed again!
