Take Your Duck To Work Day

Today's office coffee break was much enlivened by this little chap. One of my colleagues had narrowly avoided running him/her over on her way home last night - she had searched for his/her mother and siblings, and waited ages for them to return, but eventually gave up and took him/her home, phoning the local animal rescue for instructions on feeding and care. They arranged to pick him/her up from her at lunchtime, so we got to play with a duckling this morning! Every office should have one :-)

S/he much preferred human laps, and cradling hands, to being in a box. One colleague even went and improvised a paddling pool!
