Back from The Repair Shop

Some time ago I broke an SD card inserting it in this camera. It then would not allow a new card to be inserted. As is my way in life if I don’t do something today it doesn’t get done for a long time. I had considered buying a new X series but didn’t.

In much the same way I have a Sony Smart phone that stopped being smart over a year ago. Still does Voice and Text I have managed to live without being ‘Smart’ and wonder what will make me ever replace it.

The signs of Spring made me long for this camera and it’s 35mm lens so .....

I sent it to Fujifilm for a fixed price repair £115. It feels like I bought a new camera. New main board, firmware update, sensor cleaning and a new 12 month guarantee.

And yes I have just been watching the wonderful TV programme The Repair Shop
