Spot the bug

Our visitors left for home this afternoon so after a bit of shopping and tidying up I nipped out into the garden for a blip shot.  The greengage blossom has all fallen now but the pear is in bloom, and I spotted a bonus bug when I put the shot up on screen.  I only planted it a few years ago and it is still small but covered in blossom so hopefully I will get quite a few pears from it.  However, I'll make sure I don't make the same mistake I did last year.  Heeding advice during the scorchingly hot and dry summer we had, I used waste water to keep the plants alive in the garden.  I had quite a few pears on the tree but they turned out to be inedible; a strong taste of soapy washing-up water!
