A little taste of Japan... in Essex!

Out with the folks this morning and we ended up at a nearby garden centre to use up a voucher - got a lovely rose 'prima ballerina' for half price! - and wandered into the little japanese corner they have which was really nice. I think mum was tempted to buy all the Acers they had on display! 

So managed to plant out the rose this afternoon along with a peony that came in the post and it's turned into a lovely sunny afternoon after a bit of a chilly start to the day!  Still in need of some good rain though as the pots are already drying out
