Belties
These Belted Galloway cattle seem to becoming more common in the Dales, this herd has been on the farm near Threshfield for a while.
They are normally too far away to photograph with the smartphone I carry on the bike, but today they were closer. Then closer still as they came over to see what I was doing (extra).
(Snip from Wikipedia: the origin of the white belt is unknown, but generally presumed to have come from cross-breeding with Dutch Lakenvelder cattle.)
