A frosty start

A frosty morning although bright and sunny - this is the view across the golf course.   I joined the ladies for the early Thursday walk for the first time in ages - since 21st Feb in fact! Visitors, holidays and the weather have got in the way.
I avoided the steepest part and met the ladies half way - didn't think my lungs were quite up to a fast uphill yet. C kindly accompanied me and we were rewarded by the sight a deer which ran across the field in front of us.  A couple more were spotted watching us from a safe distance.
As always a good start to the day.
