Rain-washed.....

We have had rain on and off all day. It was particularly heavy this evening. There was some surface flooding in the parking area adjacent to where we have our Camera Club meetings. I stepped out of my vehicle in the dark this evening into several inches of water. Luckily my sandals cope with walking through water. I came across this rain-washed Woolly Mullein early this morning whilst out walking with Maisie. I believe the plant’s Latin name is Verbascum thapsus. It is also known as “Cowboy Toilet Paper”. Anyway I think it is attractive in its rosette form.
