Hoy Kirk

My mother’s neighbour, Maggie, has been good at supporting my Mum through her recent health wobble.  Her support continued earlier this week.  On Monday however she couldn’t hear my Mum as she had forgotten to put in her hearing aid.  Tuesday and Maggie couldn’t speak during her visit as she had forgotten to put in her teeth.

This is the Hoy Kirk* where, once in a while, a recreation is held of the day I went down the aisle trembling nervously and dressed in white.
