Happy Holidays, blip friends
I'm not quite done writing notes on my Christmas cards...next year I think I'll send them out on the computer so this is sort of a test. Maybe you can read it if you look large. But it's just our family pix so you don't need to read much anyway - you may have even seen some of these photos on blip....?
This is our main method of keeping track where we were when and who was born when etc. I keep them in a book and we refer back to see at a glance if we want to know when we did something special. It's also an interesting take on technology. My book starts with few of my Dad's blueprint cards before I was born (1940!) then some b and w photo cards then a few I did as a kid and after I had a family. The letter part didn't start til our boys were in high school (80s) and those were B and W. zeroxes where I took the scotch tape to Kinkos and taped photos on paper and wrote on them. then came the computer combo and gradually they got a bit more sophisticated techno wise. but still funky. Alas the card part got too much a few years ago so the photo letter (way better than writing too many words, for me) will have to do.
More than you want to know, but I do wish everyone a very happy holiday! and if you don't celebrate, then I hope it's good time of year for you anyway.
And now I have to get ready for Mikeday and hubby who are coming to dinner. Cioppino. It will be a good and relaxed evening.
