Last of the cherry blossom

The blossom is well past its best now. Nibbling bullfinches did not help! But, what remains looked lovely against the blue sky this morning.
It was a good day to be out in the garden and I got a lot of gardening jobs done. I looked for the frog spawn in the pond, only to see a wriggling mass of brown tadpoles, which had dispersed by the afternoon. Exciting times!
