Spring Sunshine

My arm was a little less painful last night which made for a better night's sleep. 

I didn't feel like doing much today, but I did go for a walk with mum and Little B. It turned into a glorious day- warm in the sun but still windy and cool.

We got 5K steps and took lots of pictures as we went. I was quite tired afterwards though! 

My lovely friend S had her mastectomy yesterday. Thankfully although she had a bad night due to the shenanigans on the ward from the other patients, she's not in too much pain and was sent home today, 24 hours later. She's not lost her sense of humour, as when I asked her this morning when she was coming out, she said today "the risk of me killing (the annoying lady sharing her ward) is greater than the risk of infection" !

I'm so glad she's ok, and it marks the next step on the dreaded 'journey'.
