JGHS Concert

Primary 7s were invited to join the High School for the concert in the Usher Hall. Lots of talent meant it did go on for ages. Some very tired 11 year olds at 10:40. Favourite bits were the Gaelic choir and the pipe band. Maybe that just resonates a bit when artists are debating whether there should be a connection to Scotland in our arts leaders. I'd hate to think that either tradition would die out; nowhere else will sing Una Ghil Bhan or playFarewell to Nigg if we don't. Taking our place on the world stage means having something unique to offer.

Mind you, where else can have notes from alumni read by a Ariane, Maxim, Caspar and Flora? I'm looking forward to this high school thing. And yes I'm jealous of youth, to borrow from Moz, after surveying these troops.
