A day to remember...

It proved to be quite a challenge as we went on snowmobiles 140km to Temlefjorden. Gone we’re the blue skies and at times it was a white out. Our guide Marta was so encouraging, understanding and kind to three more mature newbie snowmobilers! Her advice was to ‘dance with the snow mobile,’ and it was such a good thought to keep in mind. I also loved the way she said to keep the line ‘like a string of pearls.’

We made up (and down!) a challenging bit to an amazing viewpoint with the fulmars flying level with us and a polar bear in the far distance. Lots more gentleSvalbard reindeer lined our route , along with frozen waterfalls and pingus!
