Views of my world

Gloaming

I headed out of Barrhead in the opposite direction than usual so I could jump on the motorway and get home for Freya's concert lift run. Approaching the dams I was enthralled by the glimmer of light on the water in an otherwise darkening scene. I parked and actually got out the car to grab a quick blip. I was surprised to see hundreds of birds on the water, I couldn't tell what kind, but there were loads of them!

Day 2 of my week also went according to plan (I know you all thought it would anyway!) Two more fantastic nativities and a wonderful trip out for some lucky children to see the George Wylie exhibition. We had to borrow staff from another nursery to make sure it all came off without a hitch as we would have been short-staffed otherwise.

I went to knitting while Freya was at her concert and my secret santa grew by 100% so that's good progress, I'm going to do a wee bit more tonight to stay on schedule. So far, so good, I may need to start to give some thought to Christmas day at home now as it's always on the back burner until all the work stuff is sorted. I don't need a very big list for that as it's fairly straightforward : DO EVERYTHING!

Easy.
