Hamster Jam

We made it! A couple of large G &T’s definitely helped calm my nerves and i actually quite enjoyed the flight. It was lovely sharing the children’s first experience of flying with them and they were brilliant at keeping me calm and distracted. It was a really quick flight and we were soon landing at Schiphol Airport where our taxi was waiting to take us to our apartment. It’s a gorgeous place, big and airy with lovely views of the harbour.
We freshened up and walked into the town where we had tickets already booked for Anne Frank house. D and I found it a very moving and fascinating experience but the children found it a bit dull.
We were all starving after that so found a lovely steak restaurant for dinner then headed back to the house.
The children are upstairs, giggling away and D and I are having a glass of wine and planning tomorrow’s adventures.
