Cartoons on the Train

We said farewell to our hosts this morning after a slap-up breakfast of bacon, eggs, and freshly squeezed orange juice which CyclopsJnr helped make.

The our first train (Brockenhurst to Birmingham New Street) was late, so we ended up missing our planned connection and getting a later train to Edinburgh.  It left an hour and twelve minutes later, but arrives only 14 minutes later, so I think we came out of that OK!  The only worry was we didn't have seat reservations, but we managed to find somewhere OK.

CyclopsJnr has been pretty good, watching cartoons, playing games, and enjoying a new comic.  As we pass Carlisle he's looking pretty tired, so hopefully we'll get home before he falls apart!
