Cara, from A'Cleit
12C with sunny sunshine all day. Moderate Easterly breeze with gusts to 31 mph (it felt windy again).
Apothecary7's day off.
Since we didn't want to walk Fergus too far and for a change we drove up to A'Cleit and spent some time on the little beach there enjoying the views across to Gigha and Cara, Islay, and Jura. Out of the wind behind the screen of rocks at the back of the beach near the car park it was very pleasant and warm.
We went for lunch at Glenbarr. The outside seats and tables were sheltered from the breeze and the small one we like was free, so we had a long lunch sitting enjoying the sun and chatting to the customers and staff as they went in or out of the cafe. There were several other dogs too and Fergus only barked briefly in response to one who enthusiastically barked at him. All good, and no hoppity paw either !
Later Apothecary7 was working on the first stages of a new painting. BBC Radio Scotland was on.
DC-TZ90 f/4 1/800 sec. ISO-80 5mm (35mm focal length 31mm)
Extra: A'Cleit beach with the church.
Note: It has occured to me that Fergus has trampled on a Bramble thorn out at the shipyard. Now I have figured that out , I know he will heal up sooner rather than later!
