"Far east"

En route on our return drive from Woolgoolga to Beaudesert, we dropped in on Byron Bay to see the Cape Byron lighthouse and to stand at the easternmost point of the Australian mainland.
It was a case of hold on to your hats, as the wind was really pumping.
Coincidentally another visitor who offered to take our pic was also South African, resident in Dubai.
