WIG FEST

We left home just after 9:30 and with an hours stop we had a smooth journey to Chipping Sodbury.
We are here as 3 of us planned a short break together in Oxford (we’re friends from when our babies were born)....also to support Clair as she is now a year on from chemotherapy after breast cancer. Unfortunately in January Linda was diagnosed and is now in the middle of her treatment. So we cancelled our original plans and relocated here where Linda lives.

#The B&B looks very very grotty on the outside and we were seriously worried, luckily our room is great.

We went to Linda’s house. It was great to see her but so sad too. She ventured out for coffee and lunch. Her first real trip out. Then she came back to our B&B which just happens to have 4 beds so she was able to lay down whilst we chatted and chatted and....
#took each other’s blood pressure ....so different from years gone bye when we would be seeking out bars!!!
#my blood pressure was the highest ...some people just have to get on the bandwagon ....not sure laughter is the right response though Clair
#we then had a great laugh with my fancy dress wigs....more real ones to try on tomorrow.
After a meal at the pub I took Linda home as she really was done for but we’re hoping it was therapeutic too.

I can't tell you what a pleasure it is to just put my hair under a wig cap and slap on a wig that's already done. It's dress up for your hair! Felicity Huffman
