Red Mapel Tree Flowers

Finally the weather is slowly warming and sap is running in most trees. One of our red maple trees is flowering and starting the process of forming the whirligigs that will be spiraling in the wind a few weeks from now.

My iPhone with Moment macro lens was attached to a tripod, and the tree limb was supported to minimize motion from a light breeze. CameraPixels was used to focus bracket 50 images and Affinity Photo was used to focus align and merge the images.
