Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

KILWINNING

To Kilwinning today, but not by design. Scotrail changed the timetable and, yes, they did inform us, but I had just met this delightful man in a Glasgow pub who offered to see me home and my mind was not on the annoucements. I'd been in Glasgow to meet my wonderful friend M (she occasionally reads my blips, so I simply have to mention her. We had a wonderful time and the hours just slid by.

All this exertion was too much for me so I feel asleep while supposedly watching the evening news and woke to what I thought was someone groping my genitals, but turned out just to be the Prof retrieving the remote control.

I'm not sure about this Scotrail craze for Gaelic. Cill Fhinnean for Kilwinning is all very well, but Baile Iain for Johnstone? Johnstone (where the 16:00 express to Ayr no longer stops, BTW) is a planned community built in the 18th century, when I am nigh certain Gaelic was no spoken in this area. Go on, prove me wrong. You know you want to.
