The core of my job

Today was quite relaxed, the drillers are having trouble so we didn't have much to analyse. I designed a new geotechnical logging system draft that I'll talk to the geologist about tomorrow.

We didn't even pick up any core, when we went to use the Ute it kept stalling when the engine went over 1000rpm, turns out it was just a blown fuse so it's all fixed now.

Spent the evening watching a programme about Yengar, a First Nations' person in the 1800s who was killed by the British settlers, sad story well told.

Back to cairns tomorrow evening!
