Being Mum

Being a mum involved lots of different things today.

This was taken in our local farm shop where one of my girlies treated me to a slightly belated Mother’s Day gift. Tea with scone, jam and cream. She had lemonade and a tea cake.

I spent a couple of hours in the home of another girlie waiting for a delivery of a washing machine. I assembled an Ikea coat rack as I waited.

I proof read part of a uni dissertation on King George VI for youngest girlie.

....and I checked a flight tracking website several times today as one of my girlies and her hubby flew off to Jamaica for a week.

All in a day’s work as a mum :)
