Skatepark antics

We slept well, and decided a drive out to Southport was a good idea as the sun was shining!

We stopped off for brunch at Tastebuds in Rufford, before continuing to Southport.

We parked up near the theatre and then walked our usual route, by the carousel, up the pier, sat in the sun for a while, although it was a bit windy, then back down again.

As usual I stopped to see what action there was in the skatepark. As the schools and colleges are off, there was a group of lads, with their scooters and bikes honing their tricks and stunts. I took a couple of action shots, before one of them called up to me and asked if I'd take a Group shot, which I was more than happy to do! The older lads were a bit reluctant, but I think this is more or less the whole group. I promised to email a copy of the shots to one of them :-) which I have done.

We walked on to Lord Street, had a pitstop in Costa, before walking back to the car. Clocked up just over 8k steps, not 10k I know, but better than nothing!

An easy drive home, stopped in Lidl on the way for a few things, including a chicken which is now roasting in the oven for dinner.

Its camera club tonight, all about mirrorless cameras, so should be interesting.

Hub has my lurgy now, I'm still coughing, but I think its on its way out, finally!!
