The La Plagne and Les Arcs ski areas were joined together (via the impressive Vanoise Express cable car) in 2003 to form the vast Paradiski ski area; our ski passes let us ski throughout La Plagne, with a day over at Les Arcs, and this was our Les Arcs day... This was the view down from the cable car station at the top of the highest peak in Les Arcs.
