Stripes on .....

.... Stripes.

We recently (before vacation) became members of our local zoo and today was the first opportunity to go.  We had originally planned to go in the afternoon but decided instead to go this morning in the hopes that the animals would be more active. 

We got there shortly after they opened and headed immediately to the Mexican Wolf enclosure.  There are three wolves housed here and we were able to see all three but they weren't in a very good spot for photographs.  We hung around for a while hoping they would get up and move around but they didn't.  Maybe next time ....

We then checked out the rest of the zoo .... which we have been to several times.  The last time was in October 2018 for Boo at the Zoo. The Lehigh Valley Zoo isn't huge by any means so it didn't take us long to see all the animals.  Unfortunately, the giraffes weren't out so we didn't get to see them on this visit.  

When we got to the zebras I liked that this one was standing in front of a fence so that it created this amazing stripe on stripe look!  I converted to black & white and increased the contrast a bit.  I quite like it.
