A big bird

Looking decidedly dejected advertising the turkeys which this local organic farm offer for sale at this time of year. There are other choices of meats and game and a host of other delicious items in the Farmshop and there is a great restaurant/tea room here housed in a lovely Eco building. The Farm has been organic for 65 years and after being saved from development in 2006 through a national campaign, it is now England's first community-owned farm and offers visitors a memorable day out with their many events and they have volunteer weekends where you can get stuck in with jobs around the farm. Get mucky and have fun at the same time.....
